That same week, <b>David Pesetsky<\/b> gave a series of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncl.ac.uk\/linguistics\/news\/item\/david-pesetsky1\">talks<\/a> at Newcastle University (including a public lecture on his joint work with <b><a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/jikatz\/www\/\">Jonah Katz<\/a><\/b> on the relation of music and language).  Last Friday, <b>Norvin Richards<\/b> spoke on the topic of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/ling.ucsc.edu\/whasc\/annex\/richards-crisp.html\">Generalized Contiguity<\/a>&#8221; in the CrISP Distinguished Visitors Series at UC Santa Cruz.
